Developed by Wolfenstein steward MachineGames,Indiana Jones and the Great Circleaccrued lots of acclaim after its initial launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC on July 16, 2025. The game’s Xbox exclusivity stint was expected to be shortlived, though, as MachineGames confirmed aPS5 release forIndiana Jones and the Great Circlein August 2024 as part of Microsoft’s broadening multiplatform efforts. At the time, MachineGames had only revealed a Spring 2025 launch window forIndiana Jones and The Great Circle’s PS5 port, but the veil is fully off now.
MachineGames has confirmed thatIndiana Jones and the Great Circleis slated to hit PS5 on April 17, less than a month from now. Pre-orders are now live for three different PS5 editions ofIndiana Jones and the Great Circle- Standard, Premium, and the Collector’s Bundle (retail only). The Standard Edition costs $70, while the $100 Premium Edition grantsearly access to the game starting April 15, along with some exclusive digital content and future access toIndiana Jones and the Great Circle’s upcoming DLCThe Order of Giants. Those who pre-order any edition of the game will receive The Last Crusade Pack, which includes the Traveling Suit Outfit and the Lion Tamer Whip as in-game bonuses.

PS5 Pro support is also confirmed forIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, though details on the exact enhancements remain under wraps. Additionally, a free gameplayupdate forIndiana Jones and the Great Circleis coming to all platforms, which will introduce new whip abilities dubbed Open Season and Sleight of Hand. The former temporarily increases whip damage, while the latter allows Indy to disarm enemies and pull their weapons toward him.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circleis already shaping up to be a pretty big Xbox multiplatform release on PS5, but Microsoft has one more juggernaut scheduled for an April launch. Critically-esteemed open-world racerForza Horizon 5is set to release on PS5 on April 29, just 12 days afterIndiana Jones and the Great Circlewill launch on the Sony platform. Given that both games target very different genres and audiences, though, it’s unlikely that there’ll be any cannibalization of sales between them.
