Omni-Man wasn’t just Earth’s hero, but he was Mark’s personal hero. Growing up as the son of the most famous and powerful superhero alive meant that Mark had something to aspire to be, so when he developed powers of his own, he tried to impress Omni-Man, whereas Omni-Man himself saw it as the perfect opportunity to drop the act and show Markthe reality of a Viltrumite.
While Omni-Man can never return to Earth for how he decimated a city and tore his family apart, he is trying to make amends by joining the Coalition of Planets to defeat the last pure-blooded Viltrumites, all while his son takes his teachings and learns of how to defeat his people from the lessons he left behind.
7Bulletproof
The Perfect Back-Up Invincible
Bulletproof’s powers are a lot like Invincible’s, except they come with a cost of tragedy behind them. However, that story is a sad tale for another day best left unspoiled. What needs to be known about Bulletproof is that he has Mark’s back, and this Guardians of the Globe member knows how to do the right thing with a set of morals that sees him challenge the Immortal.
Bulletproof does what he thinks is right, and when Mark was out of commission as Invincible, Bulletproof was the first to step up and take his place to fill in as the iconic superhero, aided by his powers and his confidence to do what needed to be done.For now, at least…
6Cecil Stedman
Cecil Stedman might not always seem like Mark’s ally, but he most certainly is. There’s a common goal between the two: protect Earth from threats of this world, and out of it. With an impending Viltrumite invasion, Cecil has stepped up his reforming program for supervillains, by allowing monsters like Sinclair to continue building ReAnimen, and letting Darkwing 2back on the Guardians of the Globe.
While Mark sees this as an immense betrayal of trust that Cecil would work with villains, it’s a foolish and childish thing to think of, when in reality, Cecil is giving people a second chance to do the right thing, especially when the world needs it now more than ever. Even with Mark’s threats, Cecil will always help.
5Allen the Alien
A Space-Faring Alien Who Grows Stronger with Each Fight
Allen the Alien and Invincible only met because of the former’s mix-up of planets, but that didn’t stop the two from quickly becoming friends. Allen and Mark decided to talk it out instead of fighting it out when they met outside of Earth’s orbit, and that hadquite the impression on Allenwho had never met a friendly Viltrumite before.
Allen’s a good pal of Invincible, and now he’s an even better pal with the kid’s father, Nolan. As Nolan and Allen venture across the galaxy in search of weapons and allies that can defeat the Viltrumites, it’s abundantly obvious that Allen knows he can count on Mark, and vice versa.
4Rex Splode
The Charismatic and Often Toxic Hero
Rex Splode may have begun his hero journey as an arrogant and womanizing person, but he was soon to realize the urgency and importance of his powers and his mind for the hero teams he was involved in. Rex Splode, despite his negative traits, was the heart and spirit of the superhero teams he was on, and even Invincible knew that whenever they met.
Sure, he is confrontational to Invincible at first, but Rex soon learns the error of his ways and becomes a good friend to Mark, and even gives him his blessing to ask out his ex-girlfriend, Atom Eve, showcasing how he cares for the feelings of others and willmake the sacrifice playwithout even being asked.
3Robot
The Hyper-Intelligent Human With a Plan to Save Everyone
Rudy, or the newly dubbed Rex, is one of the, if not the smartest people on Earth. With his dozens of intensely powerful robots, simply dubbed Robot, he can fight the hardest battles that warrant the Guardians of the Globe’s involvement, without even taking a scratch (even if his robots might take a dent).
Robot uses his mind to try and figure out the impossible, whether it’s foreign technology, a way to stop the Flaxan Dimension from invading, or simply ways to help Invincible get stronger. Robot is a great ally to have because of his intelligence, butwill Robot always put his friends before his intelligence?
2Oliver Grayson
Mark’s Half-brother Who Wants to be a Hero
Oliver Grayson is a half-Viltrumite and half-Thraxan, which means he’s aging pretty rapidly. Soon, Oliver will be older than even Mark thanks to the rapid aging nature of Thraxan DNA, which will only be halted and taken over by the extremely strong and pure Viltrumite DNA. As such, Oliver already has his powers and has already proven his willingness to be a hero.
Oliver is still just a kid, but he will fly headfirst into danger, even if his ethics aren’t all there surrounding the preciousness of life. What does matter to Oliver is his family, and he will get himself into the utmost trouble if it means helping his brother in an unwinnable fight.
1Atom Eve
Mark’s Loyal Girlfriend Who Will Fight Alongside Him to the End of All Things
There is no greater partner for Mark to have than Atom Eve, the love of his life who is there alongside him through the best and worst of times. Being a hero isn’t easy, and Atom Eve knows this first hand, but she also knows how difficult it is for Mark who has the responsibility of the world on his shoulders due to his Viltrumite DNA and the impending race demanding him to conquer Earth.
No matter the cost, Atom Eve will stand alongside Mark, even when injured, to ensure that he’s okay – that they are okay. The love that they have for one another is beautiful, and the fight that Atom Eve and Invincibleshow the worldwhen they are together is inspirational for couples and heroes to witness.
