This week, a Discord user playing the game’s demo discovered thatthe trial version ofInZOIfeatured Denuvoand required a constant internet connection to play. The anti-tamper software has become notorious throughout the gaming community, with many claiming that it can negatively impact game performance and even cause damage to SSDs in some cases. In a new post made onInZOI’s official Discord channel (and reported byComicBook), the title’s Producer and Director Kjun has confirmed that Denuvo will be removed from the game’s Early Access release. The statement explains that Denuvo was initially added to prevent illegal distribution and piracy of the game, but Krafton now understands that including it could “negatively impact the player experience far more than we originally anticipated.” It’s unclear whetherInZOI’s final version will include Denuvo, but players are happy to see that the title’s developers are quick to respond to player feedback.
InZOI Will Now Launch in Early Access Without Denuvo
Earlier this month, thePC requirements forInZOIwere unveiled, with prospective players needing a powerful PC to enjoy the game on its highest setting. While the title will eventually make its way onto PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the Early Access version will only be available to PC players, withInZOIalso reportedly playable on the Steam Deck.
