Summary

A talentedInZOIplayer online has createdRed Dead Redemption 2protagonist Arthur Morgan in the new Early Access life simulator. Players have wasted absolutely no time getting to grips withInZOI’s powerful character creator tools.

Despite still being in Early Access,InZOIhas already captured players' imaginations in the first few days of release. Within the first day,InZOIhad already passedThe Sims 4’s all-time concurrent player count on Steam, as it looks to knock EA’s iconic franchise off the top spot when it comes to the life simulator genre. Whether it can sustain this kind of success is another thing entirely, but the early signs are very positive forInZOI.

Redditor JustReza09 shared theirInZOIcharacter creation: an impressive recreation ofRed Dead Redemption 2protagonist Arthur Morgan, with even the clothing looking like it was pulled straight from Rockstar’s open-world Western. The resemblance is truly uncanny, looking just like Arthur Morgan as he appears in the game. Some pointed out that the hair wasn’t exact, but JustReza09 pointed out that he looks “cursed” with any other hairstyle. They even uploaded him toInZOI’s Canvas system, so other players could download their version of Arthur.

InZOI’s Fan-Made Version of Arthur Morgan is Uncanny

InZOI’s powerful character creation tools were released for free before the launch of the game itself, allowing players to jump in and get a head start on their Zois. This has already resulted in plenty of awesome creations, with many choosing to recreate their favorite characters from other franchises. There was even oneInZOIplayer who recreatedBaldur’s Gate 3’s Shadowheartin the game, and there will no doubt be plenty more of these kinds of custom Zois in the weeks and months to come.

While there can be no doubt about how greatInZOI’s character creator is, some believe that the gameplay at this early stage is a little lacking in depth. The good news is thatInZOI’s post-launch roadmapis already addressing some of these issues, with staple features that fans have come to expect from life simulators set to be added in the coming months. Because it is still in Early Access,InZOI’s staying power in the life simulator genre can only be fully judged once it has a little more gameplay content. For now, enjoying the type of characters players are creating is fun in its own right.
