Readers will find inLoner Life In Another Worldsome of the finest combat scenes drawn with magnificent precision and high attention to detail. The character designs are a little bit generic, but some like Angelica and Touka are quite well-made. Seems like the artist paid special attention to the heroines in this story, and that’s alright.

Both of them are talented at their crafts, but Okuhashi is a master at world-building and scenario design.
The panoramic views and high level of detail of the environments inthis manga are simply magnificent. It’s hard to believe that it took so long for it to gain enough momentum to get its anime. In a series where magic experimentation leads to a young reincarnated kid creating the most brutal of magic effects, an art direction that reflects the marvels (and horrors) of magic is a must.
At that, Kokuzawa is a masterful artist who has created some of the most perfect representations of magical power in a bidimensional production. And the world background design is never a half step behind, since this mangaka is also a beast creating fantastical worlds, creatures, and basically anything that expresses the wonders of a fantastical world.
