One of the biggest threats to humanity and a primary antagonist in theJujutsu Kaisenseries is Kenjaku. An ancient curse user who existed for over a thousand years, Kenjaku has the ability to implant his brain into the body of another curse user, taking control and adopting their own abilities. One of those abilities happens to be the Antigravity System, a technique that increases the surrounding gravity to a level only he can tolerate.
Known as one of the few ancient sorcerers still alive,Kenjaku is one of the strongest of his kind, second to Ryomen Sukuna. In order to increase his power tenfold and learn a technique that could change the game,Kenjaku took control of Suguru Geto’s body, which gave him access to Cursed Spirit Manipulation. Exploiting this technique has made Kenjaku nearly impossible to take down, and the Antigravity System could be the final nail in the coffin.

The Antigravity System technique is a powerful, yet more strategic power that is used to turn the tables on an opponent. WithKenjaku’s intellectual approach to battle,this technique is one of the most powerful techniques inJujutsu Kaisen. Using the surrounding energy, Kenjaku can increase the gravitational pull around him to stop anyone he faces dead in their tracks.
When activated, Kenjaku can move freely while his opponents are glued to the ground. This is a perfect tactic to use for either getting the upper hand and building up another technique to counter, or to use as an evasion method to flee from battle. When paired with reversal, Kenjaku can also temporarily increase gravity by up to three meters around himself for up to six seconds.
Kenjaku is also able to use Antigravity System freely, and with no warning. In his battle with Choso and Yuki, Kenjaku shocks the duo by activating it in time to stopChoso’s Supernova attacks. The technique had been kept secret at the time, and the reveal surprised both of Kenjaku’s opponents. With the Antigravity System now out in the open, Kenjaku continued to use the technique and defeat his opponents.
Using the technique also doesn’t stop Kenjaku from using the other techniques he’s gained over the years. Thanks to hisCursed Spirit Manipulation, Kenjaku swallows the technique of curse users instead of exorcising them, giving him an arsenal of techniques to use. While Antigravity System is powerful on its own merits, using it in tandem with some of his other powers makes Kenjaku unstoppable.
The Intense Technique With Almost No Downside
Are There Any Disadvantages To Using Antigravity System?
At this current time,there is technically no downside to the Antigravity Sytem technique when activated. Kenjaku is free to move without any resistance, while his opponents are stuck in their spot. Kenjaku can also activate this technique after a short period of time goes by, which allows him to rely on it at any given moment. If Kenjaku breaks out the technique, it’s almost certain he’s going for the kill to maintain its secret.

The only flaw in the technique is the time in which Kenjaku can maintain its hold on the user. With reversal applied to the technique, Kenjaku can hold Antigravity System for approximately six seconds, which gives him enough time toset up his domainor bring out a stolen technique. Despite the six-second limit, Kenjaku is able to use it more than once, which makes the limitation feel more like a minor convenience.
The unpredictability and sheer force of the Antigravity System technique will cause harm to anyone that gets too close. For sorcerers and curse users who engage in battle, keeping a distance of more than three meters will prevent them getting stuck in the intense gravitational pull. While this seems like a smart approach, leaving this much distance from Kenjaku is a double-edged sword, allowing Kenjaku to use one of his many other techniques to use.
