Koromodako Cave is one of the locations where players can find a legendary chest that contains new equipment for you to equip on your character with and dominate enemies in the game. However, the location of the cave isn’t explicitly mentioned, even after you complete all the pre-requisite quests to reach it. Here’s how to find it.
Where to Find the Koromodako Cave in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The Koromodako Cave can be found in theShattered Coast region of the Wakasa ProvinceinAssassin’s Creed Shadows. The cave is located on land towards the west of the central Shattered Coast, and players will have to take a boat from any of the neighboring harbors to reach it. Now, it is possible for you to swim all the way over to Koromodako Cave, but it’s going to take a long time.
Once players reach the location marked on the map above, they’ll meet aman playing a biwa musical instrumentnext to the mouth of the cave. After approaching the NPC, he’ll explain how the master instructed him to wait for either Naoe or Yasuke to reach the cave. After that, he’s free to leave.
After entering the cave, players will need to swim under the water and surface on the other side. Inside the Koromodako Cave, you’ll spot a golden chest sitting on top of a large rock. Opening the chest will grant youFujin’s Tempest legendary amuletfor Yasuke. The amulet grants +10% additional damage per alerted province.
This means the amount of bonus damage received will increase if you’re wanted in more provinces. So, basically it’s a powerful amulet for players with an itchy trigger finger.
What to do When the Entrance to Koromodako Cave is Blocked
If players reach the Koromodako Cave and the entrance is blocked by a boulder, this means theyhaven’t completed one of the following questsbefore reaching here.
Once you complete all the quests above, you’re able to gain access to Koromodako Cave. This is because the Pirate Alliance quest is tied to the second and third ones, and without them, it can not be completed. Once players have completed the last two quests, they must visit Shindo, the Biwa Master, and receive a cryptic poem by Takeda Motoaki called Void.
