The volcano will apparently feature impressive environmental effects, which will likely be tied to aGenshin ImpactWorld Quest, similar to Sumeru’s pyramid and the mist on Tsurumi Island. As usual, the Special Program event will grant three promotional codes, which will provide a total of 300 Primogems and additional enhancement items. These Primogems can be used to pull for one of the two new characters. Regarding their rarity, Varesa is expected to be a 5-star character, while Iansan will have a lower, 4-star rarity.
Even though many players hoped that Iansan could also be a5-star character inGenshin Impact, others have pointed out that her 4-star status means there is a high chance that both characters will be featured on the same banner. This would make it much easier for players to add both of them to their pool of playable characters.
