The developers acknowledged that Peni Parker’s Arachno-Mines aren’t working as intended, as they are able to be both seen and attacked within the webs when they should be invisible and invulnerable. This issue has allowed opponents to simply spam their melee attack when entering Peni’s Cyber-Webs to destroy any nearby mines, which severely impacted the lethal nature of her ability kit. Peni Parker is one ofMarvel Rivals' most unique Vanguards, and her mines allow her to combat dive tanks in a way that forces melee-focused characters to avoid her Cyber-Webs.
Marvel Rivals Is Working to Fix Peni Parker’s Mines
Shortly after the patch was implemented,Marvel Rivalsfans expressed frustrationwith the changes, with some claiming that Peni had practically become unplayable in the higher ranks of the hero shooter’s Competitive mode. Peni Parker players have also been eagerly awaiting anew skin for the hero inMarvel Rivals, as it was announced that NetEase Games had commissioned Peachmomoko60 to design a new costume for the Vanguard.
