Virtuos Seoul’s general manager has talked about the new branch, stating that South Korea is the fourth-largest gaming market in the world, and that the new enterprise will help local developers address unique challenges faced by local studios.

The current moment seems like the perfect time for Virtuos to branch out and seek out new markets. Not only is thedevelopment ofMetal Gear Solid 3’s remakenearing its final phases, but Virtuos acquired three new studios earlier this year: Pipeworks Studios, Umanaia Interactive, and Abstraction.

Last month, Konami sharedthe PC system requirements to runMetal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
