Redditor DaL4y shared theirMinecraftconceptartwork, which redesigns the boss fight health bar UI to take on a much more themed look. There are designs for the Ender Dragon, the Wither, and Raids, all of which look much more impressive than their current in-game equivalents. Some users did point out that visibility could be an issue in the playable UI, especially with the large faces of the Wither, but it’s something that could be easily solved with a longer bar if actually used in-game.
This Minecraft UI Idea Would Improve Boss Fights
As a proof of concept, this would be an easy way to spice upMinecraft’s boss fights, which have largely gone without substantial changes for a long time. Naturally, Mojang will always be looking for areas of the game that it could change without using too many resources. While the developer doesn’t have to use the exact designs that DaL4y has created, it would be a cool addition.
