Apart from having a fairly lengthy main campaign,Monster Hunter Wildsalso has a slew of side missions for players to complete. These don’t have much of an impact on the story (if any at all), but they give players a variety of rewards, from money and resources to completely new features and mechanics.
Players who are done with the firstthree chapters ofMH Wildsshould put side missions on their priorities list after starting High Rank. Some of these have very important features behind them, and if you want to prepare for everything the game throws at you, you’ll need all the help you can get.

Out of all these side quests, we strongly recommend doing the ones that reward Palico skills and Material Retrieval NPCs first. The former will greatly increase your quality of life while hunting with your cat, while the latter will make gatheringitems like Mandragorasand Honey so much easier.
Many of these quests also become Optional Quests once you finish them the first time. You won’t get the turn-in rewards from their respective questgivers anymore, but you’ll still be able to fight the monsters specified in each quest. Doing this could be useful if you’re trying to farm Tempered monsters when none are showing up on your map.
The most important of side quests inMH Wildsonly become available once players finish the first half of the campaign. After you fight Zoh Shia, new quests will pop-up from all the different regions and settlements. To unlock the rest, you’ll need to finish Chapter 4 — doing so will let youreturn to Wyveria in High Rank.
Some quests, such as Make Fluffy Dealings from Plumpeach, can be completed just by delivering items that their questgivers request. This means that if you have a stocked inventory full of all sorts of items, you may finish some quests the moment you start them. With that said, try to collect everything you find in the wilds. You never know when they might come in handy.
