How to Find and Catch Nu Yaya
Nu Yayais a rare form of endemic life that is the offspring ofthe Apex Creatureofthe Oilwell Basin,Nu Udra. Certain conditions must be met and experienced by the player in order for this endemic creature to spawn. To start, there must be a tempered Nu Udra present on the mapwhen exploring the Oilwell Basin. Certain natural events can influence certain creatures and how they spawn. However, they are not contributing factorsto this particular endemic creature.
Once the tempered Nu Udra is on the map, playersmust travel to its nest located in Zone 17. As you enter,Alma will make a comment on the Nu Udra eggsfound in the overarching tree above you. If you hear this dialogue, that meansthe specific conditions have been met.
After that has been completed, simply travel back to any camp in the Oilwell Basin andselect the rest feature. This will allow you to select thetime of day and which specific natural event is taking placewhen you finish resting. Time of day does not matter, but be sure toselect the Plenty conditionssince Nu Yaya are only present during this specific event. Once that is done, return to Zone 17, where you should then be greeted with a plethora of floating Nu Udra babies floating around a glowing blue tree.
To then ensure a successful capture, simply prepare your capture net in your inventory so it isequipped for your slinger. As you aim with the net, your crosshair will shift to a rectangular design that willglow orange once your desired target is in range. Once it is, simply release the net at the Nu Yaya by pulling the trigger once your crosshair glows orange over it. These creatures are extremely calm and slow-moving, making them easy targets to capture.
