Monster Hunter Wildsbrings a slew of new things to discover for all players. Whether it’s a new area or monster, everything will lead to a plethora of new items players can use in numerous ways.
Certain mechanics inMonster Hunter Wildsintroduce new ways for players to get specific items that rely on the people you meet throughout your adventures. Whether they can trade something you already have or can simply gather it for you, they can provide some rare materials that cannot be found anywhere else. One of those items isDrearisite Scraps.
How to Get Drearisite Scraps
Drearisite Scrapsare arare equipment materialthat can be used to craft ahidden armor set. It can be obtained through 2 ways:Material RetrievalandItem Trading.
To obtainDrearisite ScrapsthroughItem Retrieval, you will have to talk toSabar. This NPC will serve as yourItem Retrieval vendorfor theOilweel Basin, and can be seen wandering throughAzuz, the Everforge. Before they can become this type of vendor, youmust complete the Aida’s Apprehensionside quest.
Once completed, you’re able to request Sabar to retrieve certain items over time while you are progressing through the game. While Drearisite Scraps are not an item that you can specifically request they look out for, they will always have a chance at bringing back a few of them regardless of what you request. The more time passes, the more items they can bring you, which can result in more chances of obtaining Drearisite Scraps.
Once Sabar is available as an Item Retrieval vendor, you may speak to Nata at any base camp to manage what they have brought back for you. That way you do not have to make the trek all the way back to the Oilwell Basin every time you want to check on them.
Much like Item Retrieval vendors, there are also vendors who can trade with you for Drearisite Scraps. Specifically, Gawdygog in the Scarlet Forest and Dogard in the Oilwell Basin. As time passes in the game, their list of available items for trade will rotate. When it is available to be traded, Dogard will ask for 1 Antimite Mass for one Drearisite Scrap and Gawdygog will ask for 10Ancient Wyvern Coins. These trading vendors can also be managed by Nata from any base camp.
Once you obtain Drearisite Scraps from either of these methods, you can then use them to forge the secret High Metal armor set upon collecting the other required materials to craft it.
