Capcom has revealed partial patch notes for an upcomingMonster Hunter Wildsupdate, which will likely be released sometime during March. The newest entry in Capcom’s popular franchise has been a huge hit, and it seems that the developers are working hard to correct all the pressing issues thatMonster Hunter Wildscurrently has and improve the players’ experience.
Monster Hunter Wildshas earned positive reviews, achieving an average score of 90 onOpenCritic. However, this does not mean that the title has been exempt from glitches, and Capcom has been trying to fix these bugs since the launch.
Now, Capcom has unveiled some of the currently known issues that will be fixed in the next update forMonster Hunter Wilds, which does not have an official release date. The list of fixes includes 12 issues, such as a Meal Invitation event not occurring, decorations being removed from equipment, floating rubble, and more. Some of the worst issues that will be corrected include a game-breaking issue with the “Omens” Mission in Chapter 5-1 that prevented players from completing it, and another one with monsters dropping incorrect parts. It’s important to note, however, that these patch notes represent a work-in-progress, and that the actual update may fix even more bugs or add new quality-of-life features not presented in these notes.
The patch notes also describe four known issues which are not yet confirmed to be fixed in the update, including a network error that happens when firing an SOS flare after a quest begins, and Palico’s attacks with blunt weapons not inflicting the correct statuses. Since the game launched,Capcom has been fixing bugs inMonster Hunter Wilds, so fans can expect the improvements to continue.
Earlier this week, Capcom also launchedthe first limited-time event forMonster Hunter Wilds. Known as “Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo,” this quest can help gamers obtain special headgear by hunting the Yian Kut-Ku, and will last until June 09, 2025.
Overall,Monster Hunter Wildsis a huge hit, selling over 8 million copies in only three days. This makes it the fastest-selling title in Capcom’s history, and likely gave the company over half a billion in revenue, considering the game’s price of $70.
