Mortal Kombat 1has revealed some early footage for Madam Bo, a fierce and fiery old Kameo fighter coming to the game later this month. Madam Bo arrives inMortal Kombat 1on July 14, 2025, and it’s not yet clear when any more fighters, Kameo or otherwise, are coming to the fighting game after her.
The arrival of Madam Bo later this month will wrap up theKombat Pack 2 DLC release schedule forMortal Kombat 1. Last September saw the return of cybernetic ninjas Noob Saibot, Sektor, and Cyrax to the franchise. Since late last year, the DLC schedule has focused on bringing in guest fighters from the world of movies, as slasher flick seriesScream’s Ghostface made his debut in November and the musclebound 1980s version of Conan the Barbarian showed up as a new challenger in January.
Madam Bo is the owner and operator of the Fengjian Teahouse, as well as a former associate of the Lin Kuei faction and a mentor toMortal Kombat 1fighters Kung Laoand Raiden, who are also regular customers at her shop. A new trailer shared on the game franchise’s official YouTube channel showcases this relationship as she chides her pupils for not studying her lessons before swiftly transitioning into action, as she jumps in and out of combat, helping her pupils with a variety of moves. These include more standard punches and kicks, as well as tossing glass bottles, lighting an opponent’s face on fire with her cigarette, and offering Kung Lao a mid-match beverage. She is also shown to have a fatality that involves kicking her opponent’s head off before skillfully catching it and other falling objects on a tea tray before their body hit the ground.
Mortal Kombat 1 Shows Madam Bo in Action
Prior to her inclusion in the DLC pack, Madam Bo played a minor role inMortal Kombat 1’s story mode. One scene involves her being beaten by Smoke as punishment for not paying protection money to the Lin Kuei, but this spectacle is later revealed to have been a ruse set up by Liu Kang to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament.
Madam Bo will arrive inMortal Kombat 1alongside the T-1000, the liquid metal Terminator who served as the antagonist to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character in the 1991 filmTerminator 2: Judgment Day. Previously released footage of T-1000 has shown off part of his move set, which includes turning his hands into metallic blades, and his fatality, as he hits Johnny Cage with a truck before bursting through the windshield and unloading the magazine of a sub-machine gun into his chest. Madam Bo also appeared briefly in that trailer.
