Recognizing the threat posed bythe magic beasts on Jeju Island, Japanese and Korean hunters joined hands to reclaim the island before it was too late. Although the raid party was aware of the dangerous ants that lived there, they were not prepared for a fight with the secret dungeon boss.
As Ant King slaughtered one hunter after another, Sung Jinwoo rushed to the island to save the hunters from a brutal end. The merciless murders and the ensuing chaos set the stage for an epic clash between two powerful adversaries.
Jinwoo, like always, was one step ahead of his rival throughout the battle, and his eventual triumph over Ant King earned him international recognition. Until this battle, an S-ranked dungeon had only been cleared once in history, so his victory elevated him to a stature that had never been achieved by a hunter before.

Hwang Dongsoo had been consumed by revenge ever since his brother diedmysteriously in a C-rank dungeon. When Jinwoo was invited to the United States to represent Korea at the International Guild Conference, Dongsoo saw it as an opportunity.
Dongsoo kidnapped Yoo Jinho to lure Sung into a trap, thinking that it would provoke thehunter into a fight with Thomas Andre, who in turn would kill Jinwoo to complete his vengeance. But Sung was so furious that he attacked Hwang mercilessly to the point that his spirit started to break.
Although Dongsoo’s plan worked to some degree and Thomas had a fight with Jinwoo, even he couldn’t stop the inevitable. Sung defeated Andre and went on to kill Dongsoo, bringing an end to his misguided pursuit of revenge.
