Sasuke Uchiha is, quite easily, one of the most powerful ninjasin the history of theNarutoseries and that goes without saying. Being born a genius of the Uchiha clan, fans knew that everyone around Sasuke had very high expectations of him.
His hatred of his brother and the thirst for vengeance only furthered his strength further and eventually, he ended up becoming an absolute monster in terms of power. By the end of theNarutoseries, Sasuke Uchiha had become one of the mightiest to have ever lived, reaching godly levels of power and years later, Sasuke even went on to surpass the legendary Madara Uchiha, becoming the strongest Uchiha in history.
Sasuke’s Rinnegan Awakening In Naruto
Sasuke’s journey was always going to be a very difficult one in Naruto, but fans saw him reach great heights over the years. Having been blessed with the Sharingan, Sasuke slowly took his eye beyond all limits and ended up awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan after his fated duel with his brother. Later on, Sasuke even implanted his brother’s eyes and gained the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, gaining an even bigger strength boost. Around this time, the Naruto story was already in the Fourth Great Ninja War, and Sasuke had already reached a very high level. However, this wasn’t the pinnacle of his strength.

During this time, Sasuke was most certainly on a level belowthe likes of Madara Uchihaand Hashirama Senju, and he even faced imminent death at the hands of the former. That is when this flipped for him as he met the Sage of Six Paths. Sasuke was made aware of the fact that he was Indra’s reincarnation and was thus blessed with half of Hagoromo’s power. This eventually led to the awakening of the Rinnegan in his left eye, making him a force to be reckoned with and giving him his greatest power in the entire story so far.
How Sasuke Surpassed Even Madara Uchiha After The War
Sasuke Mastered The Rinnegan Slowly
Initially,Sasuke’s Rinnegan control wasn’t as good as that of Madara. The fact that Madara was the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki gave him an even bigger edge, especially after he absorbed the God Tree. However, Sasuke was picking up how to control the Rinnegan better with time. During their short confrontation, Sasuke managed to bisect Madara Uchiha, and even overwhelm him in combat.

Much later, Sasuke even fought an even stronger enemy in Kaguya Otsutsuki, and played a significant role in defeating her. If that wasn’t enough, all this was when Sasuke was onlygetting used to the Rinnegan. During his battle against Naruto, Sasuke openly claimed that only at that point had he started getting adjusted to the Rinnegan better. He was able to keep up with Naruto and even overwhelm him on many occasions.
Sasuke’s Peak In The Story
Years later, Sasuke got even stronger, and his proven by the fact that Naruto for a huge buff in power after the war, thanks to receivingthe second half of Kurama. Yet, by adulthood, Sasuke is said to have become Naruto’s equal in power. At the same time, adult Sasuke wa seen effortlessly fighting Kinshiki Otsutsuki, and later down the line, overwhelming fused-Momoshiki despite being nerfed due to having to transport 8-9 people to a different dimension. Sasuke’s peak sees him reach a level far above Madara Uchiha, making him the strongest Uchiha in the history of the whole clan.
