Conroy’s voice can be heard during the trailer shared on Wednesday, March 12, and other promotional materials released in anticipation ofthe upcomingDevil May Cryanime. Conroy recorded the character’s lines prior to his passing.
The last animated project Conroy had a voice acting role in wasHe-Man and the Masters of the Universein 2022, and the last role overall that he was credited for was his posthumous credit in theSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguevideo game released in 2024. Kevin Conroy’s last role as Batman was inJustice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3,which came out in 2024. The extent of the involvement of Conroy’s character in the Devil May Cry narrative has not yet been revealed.
