FuRyu revealed the new 2B figure was based on the character’s anime design fromNieR: Automata Ver1.1a, a 2023 series directed by Ryōji Masuyama, complete with the character’s flowing robes and one-handed sword. The figure is currently available for pre-order through theFuRyu Hobby Mall websitefor Japanese residents, and non-Japanese residents can secure their doll through the Buyee widget orAmiAmi.NieR: Automataharbors plenty of hilarious 2B memes, but something that’s not funny is the jaw-dropping price of the doll. The figure has a staggering price tag of 198,000 yen (approximately $1,322), but the cost is somewhat justified by its bigger 1/4 scale with a height of around 43 cm (16.93 inches), and the material features traditional Japanese patterns.
