One Piece in Love Is A Light Hearted Series
One Piece in Love is a gag spin-off, and it follows three high school students, one of whom is a One Piece fan. Each chapter of the manga is a parody of One Piece, and the characters' names are inspired by the series.
Written by Daiki Ihara, it began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in June 2018. The series received positive reception from the audience, prompting Daiki Ihara to continue working on it. One Piece in Love eventually went on a hiatus in 2021, allowing the author to pursue independent projects. Originally, he wanted to end the series altogether,but the people at Shonen Jumpsuggested that he should take a break instead and finish the story later. At the moment, there is no news about when the series will return from hiatus.
