On March 20, Nintendo revealed that four Koei Tecmo strategy games will be added to theNintendo Switch OnlineSNES app, including two titles from theNobunaga’s Ambitionseries. Nintendo Switch Online Adds Classic Koei Tecmo Strategy Games
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 4: Wall of Firegives players control of up to 38 rulers and different weapons like catapults and battering rams to destroy enemy fortifications. By comparison,Uncharted Waters: New Horizonsis set on the open seas, and players can pick six different protagonists who each have their own stories to tell.
Given that the North American version of theRomance of the Three Kingdoms 4: Wall of Firegame turns 30 in July 2025, its inclusion alongside other Koei Tecmo classics is timely. With the Nintendo Switch 2 right around the corner, only time will tell what games Nintendo and its partners will add in future updates to the Switch Online service.
