Beef Studios has teamed up with Running with Scissors and Flat2VR Studios to makePostal 2 VRa reality. As confirmed by developers,Postal 2 VRwill land on PS VR2, Meta Quest 2 and 3, and Steam VR. Fans can already add the game to their Steam Wishlist, but no release date has been confirmed yet. As seen inPostal 2 VR’s announcement trailer, players will once again step into the shoes of the Postal Dude, who has a week’s worth of chores to complete in the town of Paradise, Arizona. It is up to players whether they check off their to-do lists peacefully or wreak havoc around town. “The game has been completely rebuilt for VR with manual reloading, dual-wielding, and physics-driven melee combat, an overhauled inventory and UI, and more,” said Flat2VR’s marketing and PR specialist Wes Dillon. “Chaotic, offensive, and endlessly entertaining,Postal 2 VRis an unhinged VR playground like no other.” While the jump to VR is a big step for thePostalfranchise, the originalPostal 2never disappeared from fans' radars. In 2023,Postal 2received an important updatefor its twentieth anniversary, showing the developers' commitment to the game.

Flat2VR shared some of the features that this VR version is adding, including the use of hand gestures that get real-time reactions from NPCs and a new VR inventory system.
