Blackbeard Destroys The Heart Pirates

The end of Wano signified a major turning point in the journeys of the 3 main pirate crews from the Worst Generation. Armed with three Road Poneglyph rubbings each, everyone was off to find the elusiveMan Marked by Flames, who is rumored to have the final Road Poneglyph with himself, which means that he is the final obstacle when it comes to each of these pirate crews finding the legendary One Piece treasure.

The Heart Pirates departed Wano by following their Log Pose, which eventually led them to Winner Island. However, here they were attacked by the Blackbeard Pirates, leading to an intense fight between both forces, particularly Law and Blackbeard themselves. This fight kept going in either one’s favor multiple times, with Law putting up quite the fight with the Awakened state of his Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit. Still, though, Blackbeard’s underhanded tactics mixed with his two incredibly powerful Devil Fruits led him to victory.

From here, the Blackbeard Pirates destroyed the entire Heart Pirates crew along with their flagship, the Polar Tang. However, in a last-ditch effort, Bepo ate one of Chopper’s Rumble Balls and transformed intohis terrifying Sulong form, and escaped with Law into the ocean. This was the last that was seen of either of them, so fans are convinced that they will eventually resurface during one of the arcs in the Final Saga. Many even believe that Bepo and Law could return on Elbaf.

Currently, they are in quite a pickle, since they’re completely defenseless on the ocean. The most likely option for them here is to head back to Wano, since that is the closest known island to Winner Island, though this would be very difficult due to Wano’s impenetrable borders. So, many fans are of the opinion that Law and Bepo will rejoin the story through the Mink swimming to an island where they will bide their time, which could also be Elbaf.

Shanks And His Allies Destroy The Kid Pirates

Just like the Heart Pirates, the Kid Pirates exited Wano’s waters and headed to a vastly different location compared to the other crews. However, unlike the others, Eustass Kid had a clear goal on his journey, which included rising to the highest level of strength bydefeating as many Yonko as possible, and the next person on his list after defeating Big Mom with Law was the notorious Red Haired Shanks.

However, this situation was vastly different from the one in Wano, which allowed him to team up with someone of comparable strength and an Awakened Devil Fruit to defeat an Emperor. Firstly, Shanks is likely far stronger than Big Mom was and this time, it was only him and his crew against the combined forces of the Red Hair Pirates, their allies, and the Giants of Elbaf. This led to one of the most one-sided beatdowns in the entireOne Piecestory, which ended up in the probable death of every member of the Kid Pirates.

They say you Emperors are invincible? What a joke! There’s no such thing!

Shanks made his long-awaited combat debut in the series when hedestroyed Eustass Kid with his Divine Departure technique. The last that is seen of the captain is when his ship blows up and he is thrust into the ocean, where he can’t survive due to being a Devil Fruit user. This has prompted many in the fanbase to believe that Kid is dead and that he won’t return to the series ever again.

However, there is a growing theme among the community that if there isn’t a dead body, then the death isn’t confirmed, which is further strengthened by the fact that the text box was left ambiguous about his fate. Knowing that this happened right by Elbaf’s waters, it’s entirely possible that Kid is somehow alive and may even be on the island as a prisoner somewhere. Or, if this doesn’t add up, he could also have been taken on Shanks' ship as a prisoner, since many believe Shanks to be much more nuanced than he seems.
