Loki, since his official introduction inOne Piece’sElbaf Arc, has instantly captured the interest of fans. Between his amazing design, and connections to the lore of Elbaf and theOne Pieceworld, plenty of fans have analyzed every detail of the character, attempting to piece together the limited information they have. This includes fans who have attempted to figure out the size of Loki, who already seems to be much larger than the average giant.
However, now, fans have been given their first look at Loki’s full standing height inthe most recent chapter ofOne Piece. Although it isn’t particularly surprising, Loki is absolutely massive, rivaling the largest giants that have been shown in the series thus far. Due to this, many fans have wondered just how big Loki is inOne Piece, especially when he’s standing at his full height.
Loki Possesses The Blood Of Ancient Giants In One Piece
This Puts Him At The Same Height As Characters Like Oars
Although Loki is already said to be massive, specifically due to being a giant, even among giants, Loki possesses a special attribute that makes him even larger than his fellow Elbaf citizens. Loki is a giant that possessesOne Piece’sAncient Giant blood, making him much larger than usual. Although no pure-blooded Ancient Giants are still alive, one Ancient Giant has been shown inOne Pieceduring the Thriller Bark Arc, the massive zombie, Oars.
I am the Sun God enshrined in the legends of this land. - Loki
In Chapter 1141 ofOne Piece, Loki is finally set free, showing off his full massive frame. Before his reveal, however, Zoro claims that Loki is roughly the same size as Oars, despite not being a pure-blooded Ancient Giant. WithOne Piece’sgiant, Oars, sitting at roughly 219 feet and 10 inches tall, or 6,700.5 cm tall, this would make Loki around the same height. Overall, this would make him one of the tallest humanoid characters inOne Piece, only being behind Sanjuan Wolf and Wadatsumi.
Loki Is Much Larger Than Most One Piece Giants
Luffy Barely Reaches Loki’s Feet
Loki’s height, being around 6,700 cm, places him well above any other giant shown in Elbaf so far. For comparison, Loki’s brother, Hajrudin, only sits at around 2,200 cm tall. Overall, it would take over 3 Hajrudins stacked on top of one another to match the height of his brother. Withthe protagonist ofOne Piece,Luffy, standing at 174 cm tall, it would take nearly 40 Luffys to be at eye level with Loki. Due to this, Luffy almost seems like a tiny dot when compared to the sheer size of Loki.
This size comparison makes sense so far when compared to the panel of Luffy looking up at Loki standing for the first time. In this panel, Luffy barely reaches the height of Loki’s feet, makingthe powerful Straw Hat Captainlook like a Tontatta compared to him. With Loki’s large frame and the fear the other giants have towards him, Loki may be one of the strongest threats that Luffy has come to face inOne Pieceso far.
Loki’s Height Might Change Throughout The Elbaf Arc
Oda Has Retconned Massive Heights Before
Still, when it comes to sizes inOne Piece, sometimes Oda can be a bit inconsistent, preferring style to keeping a steady height in art. Since Loki hasn’t had an official height released, fans can only make comparisons to other characters shown so far, like Oars. At the same time, fans have to trustthe powerfulOne Pieceswordsman, Zoro’s, perception and his claim that Loki is around the same size as Oars to predict his height. This means that although fans have a good guess at what Loki’s height is inOne Piece, this prediction may be a little different than his official release.
I am the Sun God who brings the world to the end! - Loki
Finally, similar to a character like Zunesha, if Oda does make Loki too big, he could be the subject of a retcon, making him smaller than he should be. Still, in the end,Loki’s full size inOne Pieceis absolutely incredible, becoming one of the largest humanoid characters inOne Pieceso far. Plus, with Loki’s height rivaling his Ancient Giant ancestors, the intriguingOne Piececharacter may be one of the strongest characters Luffy will ever have to face.
