One Pieceis currently in the Final Saga and that means the story is now going to get even more exciting, involving the biggest and the most important players, especially the ones that have been on the sidelines for years upon years now. Fans know thatOne Piece’sFinal Saga will finally show the full extent of the powers of the legendary figures that they’ve been waiting to see, and now is the time for just that to happenwith the likes of Dragon, Shanks, and many others.
When it comes to Dragon, in particular, fans know that Oda has actually dropped a lot of hints about his ability already. In fact, Dragon’s Devil Fruit power can be narrowed down greatly when considering all the hints that Oda has already revealed, and the nature of the ability has already been revealed by Oda. Taking all things into consideration, fans have a good idea of what Dragon is truly capable of, and what his mysterious Devil Fruit might be. Of course, Oda is still capable of surprising fans, but there is a ton of evidence about Dragon’s power for the fans to make a very good guess on what it is.
Dragon Is A Devil Fruit User
Monkey D Dragon is most definitely a Devil Fruit user and that much is a given in the story. Even though some fans don’t accept the fact that Dragon has a Devil Fruit, at this point, it is quite clear. For one, Dragon’s appearance in Loguetown all of a sudden with the changes in the weather is already proof of the fact that he holds an ability. Nobody can do what Dragon did withoutholding a Devil Fruit ability. Secondly, when Dragon saved Sabo, he picked him from the ocean, and once again without having an ability that allows him to do so, it would be impossible. Thirdly, Dragon was clearly seen flying to the Wind Granma after saving Sabo, carrying him in his hands. After he landed directly on the deck of the ship, a steam-like smoke was seen emerging from his body, which is yet another indication of him being a Devil Fruit user.

In fact, even the name of his own ship is an indication from Oda that Dragon has a Devil Fruit ability. Furthermore, Dragon often seems to use words like “wind” whenever he speaks, and even phrases like “winds of fate.” This in itself is enough for the fans to know that Dragon has a Devil Fruit ability that’s related to wind and all things most certainly point towards it.
It is only a matter of time before Oda goes ahead and completely reveals the Devil Fruit ability of Dragon, and if there’s one thing that fans should know, it’s that Dragon most definitely has a very overpowered Devil Fruit.
Dragon’s Devil Fruit Power Has Already Been Confirmed
Dragon Has One Of Two Powers In One Piece
Based on everything that Oda has revealed about Dragon’s abilities so far, what can clearly be said is that Dragon has the power of wind manipulation. Now, this can come in three ways. The first way is to simply give Dragon a Wind manipulating Paramecia type of Devil Fruit. This would be for the sole reason of keeping Dragon from being too overpowered. Dragon would gain the ability to attack targets with wind-based attacks and fly himself and just manipulate winds in the atmosphere clearly. But, this isn’t the only ability that Dragon could have. A Wind Logia type Kaze Kaze no Mi is also a big option. As a Logia, Dragon would essentially have one of the most overpowered abilities in One Piece this would allow him to turn into wind himself. He could change the patterns of wind, fly to wherever he wants, become the wind itself, and destroy cities and whatnot. This Devil Fruit ability wouldmost certainly be deadly for Dragonas well.

However, there could be a second possibility as well. It is already known that Dragon has the power of wind manipulation, but it isn’t clear if the wind manipulation is the main power or a side ability that Dragon has. After all, manipulating winds can be a different kind of ability, such as the power to create storms. This is yet another ability that Dragon could have, and if one looks at Loguetown, it might actually be more likely. When Dragon came to Loguetown, Nami mentioned that a storm was coming. She noticed that the atmospheric pressure was dropping suddenly and very fast, which meant that a massive storm was on the way. Then, fans saw strong rains hit Loguetown, and Dragon even used the storm to create a lightning bolt to strike down Buggy, who was about to kill his son. Dragon manipulated a whole storm to save Luffy and ensure he left Loguetown and that in itself a big thing.
Now, a wind ability can most definitely create a storm, but it is likelier thatDragon has the power to cause storms, which essentially gives him the power of wind manipulation by default, making him even more overpowered. In other words, Dragon might have the Storm Storm Fruit.
That said, both options are very likely. It is either a Storm Storm Fruit, or a Wind Wind Fruit, but his powers have more in common with the former than the latter. Either way, the ability is incredibly overpowered, and most certainly worthy of the man who is the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army.
Does Dragon Have Other Powers?
Dragon Can Use Ryusoken
Although Dragon isa very overpowered Devil Fruit, he doesn’t rely on it completely. Fans know for a fact that Dragon has access to Conqueror’s Haki as well, and that on top of it, he also is a skilled martial artist, as he trained Sabo in the art of Ryusoken. His powers are incredibly diverse and he most certainly can fight in a plethora of ways. Undoubtedly, Dragon is up there with the most overpowered characters inOne Pieceright now, and he’s also one of the most important players at the moment.
It is only a matter of time before Dragon is featured more prominently, and when that happens, fans will most definitely get to see what he’s truly capable of. Given thatOne Pieceis in the Final Saga, it is only a matter of time before Dragon lets loose, especially since he’s already launched his offensive against the World Government.
