Oda Sets Up Loki’s Flashback in Chapter 1143
The Elbaf arc of One Piecewas phenomenally written right from the get-go and it’s only getting more exciting as fans find out more about the Accursed Prince, Loki. Having been introduced to the fans as a chained-up giant, it is no surprise to know that Loki would be freed soon in the Elbaf arc. When the moment finally arrived, fans knew that Oda would eventually do a deep dive into his past, and this was inevitable. Loki is believed to be responsible for Elbaf’s biggest sin. It is said that he killed his own father, King Harald, and stole the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf. However, there seems to be a deeper truth behind this.

This was first hinted at by Mosa, who told Loki that he seems to have a kind heart, and later on, by Jarul himself, who said that Loki simply wants to be like Nika. In One Piece chapter 1143, Loki was seen passing out after trying to threaten the Giants of Elbaf so he could make his way out. Luffy saw right through his bluff and knocked him out.

Now, Loki is being treated by Gerd, and while he’s resting, it seems that Loki is now set to reveal his whole truth. WhenLoki was accused of having killed King Haraldby none other than his brother, Hajrudin, he immediately corrected him and asked if he too believed the lie that was spread around. Loki doesn’t seem to be the one responsible for killing King Harald, and it seems the deeper mystery will now be tackled through a flashback.

At the same time, fans will also likely see how the World Government have been tryingto gain control of Elbaffor over 14 years now.

More importantly,Shanks’s involvement in Elbaf, his battle with Loki, and his rise to Yonko could all be covered in this one flashback.
