One Punch Manseason 3 is one of the most awaited releases of the year. After a disastrous second season, there was a lot of pressure on the anime to make a comeback with a better season. Thethird season of One Punch Man wasannounced quite some time ago, but for the most part, fans had no idea when the anime would be released.
But that has finally changed. On June 22, 2025, the official X (formerly Twitter) account forOne Punch Man announced that the third season will be released in October 2025.
One Punch Man Season 3 Release Window Confirmed
Along with confirming the release date, the account also shared a new visual and a trailer. The new visual for the anime has Saitama in the focus, followed by theentire roster of S-rank heroes, including Fubuki (not an S-rank but nonetheless an important character), Genos, and Tatsumaki.
The trailer gave fans a glimpse of what they can expect from the new season in terms of animation. There wasn’t too much action, but the visuals look a lot better.
One Punch Man Season 3 is being producedby J.C.Staff. Some fans might argue that Madhouse should have picked up the anime again, but the studio is currently busy with several projects of its own, including Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, and The Dinner Table Detective. Having another anime of the caliber of One Punch Man would have affected the overall quality of the project.
J.C.Staff needs to put in a lot of effort to get fans back on the side. The studio has the necessary means to produce a stellar adaptation, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Despite the promises from the staff,One Punch Man fans will stillmaintain their skepticism, which is understandable.
One Punch Man Season 3 Could Be The Best One Yet
One Punch Man Season 3 has the potential to be the best one yet. The first season had insane animation, but the third could supplant it. The new season will cover the remainder of the Monster Association arc, which has arguably the best fight in the series to date.If J.C.Staff manages toproduce something close to the first season, then it will be among the best anime of the year.
