It’s set to launch in May 2025, and given how new it is, Pocketpair can establish a mutually beneficial partnership that builds momentum for both brands. Mattel would get a line of sets to produce for its new brand, giving it a ton to work with for its future, whilePalworldgets its own brick-like toys that showother creature-collecting games outside ofPokemoncan find major success.
Pokemon’s announcement of an official LEGOset could bring the rivalry between it andPalworldto the next level, but that’s only if Pocketpair steps up and pushes a similar toy line for its creation.
