Summary
An imaginativePokemonfan has made Eevee and its evolutions even cuter by reimagining them as bunny rabbits. Eevee is one of the most famous and popular of the originalPokemongeneration, thanks in no small part to the fact that it can turn into one of eight evolved forms depending on what conditions the player fulfills. It started with only Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon inPokemon Red and Blue, but laterPokemongames would add more Eeveelutions to the mix in the form of Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.
Because of these different forms and the potential for even more to be added in futurePokemongenerations, Eevee and its evolutions are a popular source of fan art. TalentedPokemonfanslike to imagine new Eeveelutionsbased on the elemental Types that aren’t represented by one yet and create fusions of Eevee and other Pokemon like Growlithe and Cubone. Others still have even imagined the typically fox-like Eevee and its evolutions as different animals or even humans.
Reddit user MunchyKu has previously drawn holiday-themed Eevee variants andrendered the Eeveelutions as cute teddy bears, and now they have envisioned them as equally cuddly rabbits in their latest piece. Posted on r/pokemon, this cute collection of pictures features nine bunnies sporting the colors and fur patterns of Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. Other Reddit users in the comment section are gushing over these adorable Eevee rabbits and complimenting the artist for their work.
Pokemon Eeveelution Bunnies Take Cuteness to the Next Level
There hasn’t been a new Eeveelution sinceSylveon was introduced inPokemon X and Yway back in 2013, and there are currently 10 standard Types that don’t correspond to one. This has left fans wondering when the next one will debut and theorizing which Type it will be. 2024’s massive Teraleak data breach claimed that a new, Flying-type Eeveelution was planned forPokemon Sun and Moon, but was ultimately cut from the finished product after a full concept design was completed.
This design ultimately didn’t make it into the officialPokemonlore, but there is still a chance for one of the existingEeveelutions to at least get a new Mega Evolutionin the upcomingPokemon Legends: Z-A. In the meantime, skilled fan artists are still hard at work dreaming up brand-new Eevee forms that could appear one day, as well as giving the current set the occasional cute, bunny-themed makeover in time for Easter next month.
