Summary
APokemonfan artist has recently designed a Fighting-type evolution for Eevee, achieving an impressive result. ThePokemoncommunity has many talented fan artists who love to redesign popular creatures of the franchise, and drawing new Eeveelutions is one of their most popular hobbies.
Despite being a Normal-type creature originally introduced in the first generation of thePokemonfranchise, Eevee is arguably one ofthe most unique Pokemon ever created. What makes the little creature stand out so much is that, unlike most critters, it has multiple evolutions. From the start, Eevee could already evolve into Flareon, Vaporeon, or Jolteon. From Gen 2 onward, it gained two new evolutions, Umbreon and Espeon. Later generations introduced Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon as even more choices, and Eevee is currently the only Pokemon to have eight evolutions.
Now, aPokemonfan called 67chrome designed Champeon, a new Fighting-type Eeveelution. Despite having some differences like larger eyes, a different color pattern and more fur, the main reason why Champeon stands out is due to having more hands. In this design, the Pokemon is depicted as having huge hands instead of its ears and tail, and it can use them to attack enemies. The new creature even comes with its custom statblock, and powerful moves such as Drain Punch and Baton Pass. According to 67chrome, this was a pretty difficult design to create, as they struggled to keep the similarities with Eevee while making a critter that could “throw a solid punch.” Despite these challenges, the community loved the design, praising the artist’s creativity and the Pokemon’s clever name.
Pokemon Fan Shows Off Fighting-type Eeveelution
This is not the first time a Pokemon fan has designed an interesting Eeveelution. A while ago, for example, one artist created aPoison-type evolution for Eevee called Serpeon. In this new form, the critter was depicted as a small, blue fox with a tail and hair shaped like snakes.
In another design, one fandesigned a Ghost-type Eeveelution called Halluceon. This was a pretty unique artwork that reimagined the popular monster as a slim, cat-like white creature that somewhat resembled a skeleton and had some purple details.
A different take on an alternative Eevee was shared by a fan a few weeks ago, too. At this time, that creator shared agallery with all Eeveelutions reimagined as dragons, which were incredibly cute. Hopefully, even more fans will continue to create unique Eeveelutions and share them with the community, as it’s been a while since Nintendo unveiled an official one.
