Summary

A talentedPokemonfan artist has recently devised new versions of Eevee and its evolutions by reimagining them as cute dragons. Fan art has been popular in thePokemoncommunity since the 90s, and while most artists often change the types of famous critters or reimagine them as Mega Evolutions or Paradox forms, sometimes a person has a pretty unique concept to redesign a Pokemon, coming up with inventive results such as this one.

Eevee is a Normal-type Gen 1 Pokemon with eight official evolutions, standing out among the other 1,024 creatures in the franchise because of that. In Gen 1, Eevee could evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon. As more generations passed, the critter gained additional evolutions: Umbreon and Espeon in Gen 2, Leafeon and Glaceon in Gen 4, and, most recently, Sylveon in Gen 6. Due to its uniqueness and how cute it looks, Eevee is often considered one ofthe most popular Pokemon in the franchise.

Now, a prolificPokemonfan artist called MunchyKu shared nine adorable designs, reimagining Eevee and its Eeveelutions as dragons. All of these creations still greatly resemble the original critters, but come with big eyes, wings, horns, dragon tails, and a different shape of mouth. Another interesting detail is that while most Pokemon have fairly similar wings, they all have unique horns based on their type, with the Dragon Vaporeon having a single horn, for example, while Dragon Glaceon has three of them. In the post, the nine designs could either be seen together in one picture or in separate ones for more detail. Overall, this artwork had a pretty good reception, with multiple fans commenting how much they liked the designs.

Adorable Dragon-Inspired Eeveelutions Fan Art

This is not the first time that MunchyKu shared alternative Eeveelutions recently. Last month, for example, the artist createdadorable teddy bear-inspired Eeveelutions, following a similar concept.

Earlier this week, MunchyKu continued to share their cute artwork with the community. This time, theartist reimagined all Eeveelutions as bunnies, drawing the lovely critters as round bunny-like figures with long ears.

Another recent example of excellent Eeveelution fan art was shared by another creator. This person createda Dragon-type Eeveelution called Drakeon, which was completely different from MunchyKu’s work, as this light green Eeveelution had fins, a very long tail, and completely different ears. Hopefully, thePokemoncommunity still has even more creative ways to reimagine Eevee and its evolutions, and fans will continue to see posts like these for a long time to come.
