Redditor HertzBurst has created a new Mega Evolution form for Drifblim, turning the Pokemon into a blimp. The fan art shows theGen 4 Pokemonwith its body extended similarly to a zeppelin, with the same four thin arms and the white mass on top of its head that its regular form has. In addition to the red extrusion on the lower part of its body, the Mega Drifblim has another on the back, reminiscent of the propeller that some blimps have. Like regular Drifblim, its Mega Evolution is a Ghost/Flying type. Unlike it, its hidden ability is Shadow Tag, which prevents adjacent opponents from fleeing or switching Pokemon while the critter with this ability is on the field.

The comments section liked the OP’s idea and quickly filled the post with praise. Players wished that this form wasn’t just fan art, with several wishing that Mega Driflbim was an official Mega Evolution. Pokemon fans took the opportunity to express an inventive idea, that this Mega Evolution concept should be the size of Wailord, one of thelargest Pokemon. To enrich their work even further, the OP created a Mega Driflbim shiny, using the colors of the regular Drifblim shiny, which are blue, yellow, and green.

With the announcement thatPokemon Legends: Z-Awill have Mega Evolutions, players got even more excited to check out the game. However, while it’s a well-known mechanic, it’s supposed to change with the addition of a timer to prevent players from abusing it during battles. WithLegends: Z-Astill without an exact release date, but promised to be later this year, fans wait for new information while exercising their creativity by producing impressive fan art.
