Pokemon GOhas announced that Gossifleur and Eldegoss will debut during the Spring to Spring event, which will begin on April 9. This will be one of several activities confirmed forPokemon GOplayers in April, marking the addition of an adorable duo.
Gossifleur and Edelgoss were introduced in Gen 8 with the release ofPokemon Sword and Shield. Gossifleur is a small plant-like creature with a large yellow flower on its head that, upon reaching level 20, evolves into Eldegoss. Based on a cotton flower, Eldegoss has white fluff larger than its body and tiny seeds scattered on the top. ExpandingPokemon GO’s Pokedexagain, the duo is coming to the game.
Pokemon GOhas revealed the Spring to Spring event, which will mark the debuts of Gossifleur and Eldegoss in the game. The event will begin on Wednesday, April 9, at 10 am, and end on Monday, April 14, at 8 pm local time. During this period, Gossifleur will appear in the wild and whenPokemon GOplayers hatch 5 km eggs. To get an Eldegoss, they’ll need to use 50 Gossifleur Candy. To help players, the event bonuses will give twice as much Candy when hatching eggs of all distances, Lucky Eggs will last twice as long, and only half the usual distance to hatch eggs will be required. Additionally, there will be an increased chance of finding shiny Remoraid and shiny Fletchling in the wild.
In addition to Gossifleur, Remoraid, and Fletchling, 14 other wild Pokemon will appear on different days and times during the event, such as Marill, which will be one of the spawns available between April 9 and 10. Other highlights are Hisuian Growlithe and Alolan Exeggutor, with a chance to appear between April 11 and 12, and April 13 and 14, respectively. Players will get Magby, Budew, and Mantyke by hatching 2 km eggs, and, in addition to Gossifleur, Remoraid, and Fletchling can be hatched from 5 km eggs. New Collection Challenges, Pokestop Showcases, andField Research taskswill be released, along with a $2 Paid Timed Research, and a $1.99 box on the web store.
In addition to Spring to Spring, players have plenty to look forward to fromPokemon GOin April. Paldean Tauros variants will be added during the Stunning Styles event, which will start on April 3rd. Several Raid Days will take place throughout the month, including thedebut of Gigantamax Snorlaxon April 19. Another confirmed event is Community Day, which will take place on April 27 and will feature Vanillite.
