An Extensive Creation Menu For Designing A Ghoul Character
Lots of players spend a lot of time changing their character’s appearance. After opting to become a Ghoul, players will have access to a new customization menu. From glowing eyes to skin deformations, there are plenty of Ghoulish options to flip through, allowingplayers to come up with completely unique designs.While the customizationoptions are solely cosmetic, they are still fun to play around with.
5No More Radiation Damage
Soak Up The Rads And Heal At The Same Time
For the most part, radiation is bad — unless the player is a Ghoul.Radiation heals Ghoul characters.Whether the player consumes highly irradiated items such as Toxic Goo or enters high radiation zones, the outcome is the same.
This can be incredibly useful when completing events such asRadiation Rumble and Eviction Notice, as there are lots of rads floating around these areas. Unfortunately, the downside to this is that using a Bloodied build becomes almost impossible. Olayers who want to become a Ghoul should only do so if they are interested in using a full health build.
4The Glow System
An Extra Line Of Defense
As a Ghoul, not only can players use radiation to keep health high, but they’ll also gain access to a whole extra bar.This Glow bar will fill up depending on how much radiation the player has soaked up.This acts as a secondary health bar, and will gradually go down when attacked.
Certain Perk cards can make use of Glow to do things like cause more damage andregenerate AP faster than normal. With the right settings, players can become incredibly tanky with the power of Glow.
3Feral Abilities
Become Feral To Enjoy Temporary Bonuses
The Feral Meter is a little complicated at first glance. But, after getting the hang of the new system, it can be a very powerful tool in a player’s arsenal. As a Ghoul, players don’t need to eat and drink. That said, they will stillreceive buffsfor eating and drinking special items.
Instead of a food and water meter, players will have a Feral Meter.This meter has a list of benefits and drawbacks, depending on how empty the meter is.The emptier the meter, the more feral the player is. This meter can be filled byconsuming various Chems. The benefits and negatives for feral levels are:

51% -75%
26% - 50%
1% - 25%
0%
Because of the way this system works, it’s better toeither keep the Feral Meter full or emptydepending on the player’s build.If the player enjoys using melee weapons, then staying feral is great. However, outside of melee, it’s best to keep the meter within the “Wonderful” range.
2Create Powerful Full-Health Melee Builds
Use Radiation And Feral Abilities
There are lots ofplayers who use melee builds. For the most part, these builds are considerably more effective if the player is using a Bloodied build. However, playing as a Ghoul gives players the ability to inflict lots of melee damage while remaining at full health.
When the player’s Feral Meter is at 0%, they’ll inflict 150% more melee damage.With the right loadout, this percentage can be boosted further, meaning that players can unleash devastating melee attacks on enemies while at full health.

Bethesda made lots of changes to perk cards with the Ghoul Within Update. They also added lots of new cards that are only available to those who are playing as a Ghoul.There are a total of 28perks that are unique to Ghoul characters,some of the best of which are:
There are also a couple of newLegendary Perksthat are only for Ghouls: Action Diet and Feral Rage.Action Dietheals the player and reduces their feral level after killing an enemy.Feral Ragereduces the cost of Glow Perk Abilities when feral.
