R.E.P.O.has an extensive list of items that players can purchase from the store in between levels, and some of these items are must-have purchases that everyone should buy as early as possible. Players who have the cash to splash need to save up and buy these essential items inR.E.P.O.if they are to survive to higher-tier levels and beat the monsters thatcause the most scares.

With so many terrifying encounters inR.E.P.O., and an abundance of loot to be found, it’s vital that players come prepared with the best items available to them in the shop, so next time you’re shopping, try and locate these items and buy them for a better experience.

Strength Upgrade

1Strength Upgrade

Pick Up Heavy Items and Monsters with Ease

The Strength Upgrade is the most essential upgrade of them all, as without it, players are going to have a hard time lifting up heavy and expensive items, and an even harder time lifting up and throwing around monsters that are there to give them a bad time (and a scare).

The Strength Upgrade is a must-have for solo players andfor co-op playthroughs, as with enough upgrades, players are going to be able to lift up monsters to bully them as they slam them into the ground or toss them into a pit to make the level easier.

Stamina Upgrade

2Stamina Upgrade

Increases Stamina by 10 Points

Stamina Upgrades are an essential part of the upgrading process for any good robot, as they will further increase the stamina of the bot so that it can sprint for longer without being exhausted. Sure, it doesn’t actually increase the speed that stamina regenerates (which is a shame), but it does still benefit players.

Having more sprint points is vital to outrunning monsters and reaching new areas of the level with ease, as stamina doesn’t regenerate quickly, so the more players have of it, the more they canrun around without fearof what’s behind them.

Sprint Speed Upgrade

3Sprint Speed Upgrade

Run 20% Faster with Each Upgrade

Sprinting away from enemies is essential for survival, as for the most part, players aren’t going to be able to kill everything they see. After all, the bots are just humble scavengersin search of loot; they’re not paid killers.

As such, a Sprint Speed Upgrade is just what players need to easily navigate long hallways, and rooms, and escape from enemies, as it will give them a speed boost that will see them outpace the fastest of enemies and get back to the ship or behind cover.

Health Upgrade

4Health Upgrade

Obtain 20 HP Per Upgrade

The Health Upgrade provides players with an additional 20 HP that can really impact them in good ways in the long run. Players will mostly only take damage from enemies, but most of these enemies deal different levels of damage. Some tick for only 10 HP per hit, whereas others tick for 100 HP, which is why a Health Upgrade is a must to avoid instantly dying.

Sure, a Health Upgrade isn’t going to maximize the player’s health when they are on 1 HP, but it is going to be the shield that they need while on full health to avoid taking immense damage from the Huntsman’s rifle, and they might just live to see another level.

Shotgun

5Shotgun

Shoot Enemies That Get Too Close

The Shotgun deals some of the hardest-hitting damage found in the game, and it’s a weapon that’s hilarious to use since it willblast enemies backand send players flying with its recoil and kick. It’s fun to wield and immensely powerful, but players are going to have to get extremely close to use it effectively.

With the Shotgun in the right hands, players have a lethal weapon that can easily eradicate enemies in just a shot or two, but they might want to be aware that the accuracy of the shotgun and its blasts are not as consistent, so this is a risky weapon to use when close to enemies.

Grenade

6Grenade

An Explosive Device for Deadly Effects

The Grenade might not deal the most damage in the game, but it’s very affordable, meaning players can stock up on Grenades and carry them in their inventory to unleash these frags into enemies so that they explode and drop even more precious loot.

The problem with the Grenade is that it can be unpredictable, as players do need to watch where they throw it so that it doesn’t bounce or roll back into them, and they might need a few to kill larger enemies. On top of that, the grenade can also destroy valuables nearby,so be carefulwhen using it.

Roll Drone

7Roll Drone

Force Monsters to Roll When Attached

The Roll Drone is a great trolling device that allows players toactivate it, which will then see the device seek out an object or a living entity, just to latch onto them and drag them around. The Roll Drone forces the entity to roll around on the floor, flailing helplessly with nothing to help it out of its state.

The reason players should purchase the Roll Drone is to try and help with monsters a tad easier than normal, for this weapon might not kill them, but the battery charge will be extensive enough to roll them around and distract them while players loot – and it might even help players roll enemies off of pits.

Feather Drone

8Feather Drone

Makes Items and Monsters Light to Carry Around

The Feather Drone can be very useful since once activated, it will make things that it’s attached to extremely light. This means that regardless of strength upgrades, players can pick up heavy objects and take them to the C.A.R.T. or the extraction point with ease, allowing them to push through the weight of these mighty items thanks to the fact they’re now as light as a feather.

These items will also fall slower, and players who are attached to them can jump higher and fall at a slower rate. What’s even better is how this works on monsters, allowing players to make monsters nice and light so they can be easily tossed off of pits and slammed down.
