During the Sakamoto Days panel at AnimeJapan 2025, a striking key visual was revealed for Cour 2. The illustration sets an intense tone, showcasing major characters like Sakamoto, Shin, and Nagumo.
Fans can mark their calendars, as Cour 2 is set to premiere in July 2025. While an exact date is yet to be announced, the episodes will air on TV Tokyo and affiliated networks in Japan, with Netflix streaming the series worldwide.

Based on the manga, Cour 2 will pick up from Chapter 38, diving into the Death Row Prisoners Arc.X, the major antagonist, has freed some of the most dangerous inmates to unleash chaos. Expect intense battles as Sakamoto and his allies face off against these ruthless killers.

Cast and Staff Updates
The panel also announced an exciting addition to the voice cast. Koki Uchiyama, known for his versatile performances, will join as Gaku, a key member of the X Organization.
