Silent Hill f Will Get PS5 Pro Enhancements
The news may not come as too much of a shock to those who have been following the trend of big-budget, action-oriented games released on PlayStation 5 since even before therelease of the PS5 Prolast November. More than 80 different games had already been outfitted or upgraded to take advantage of the PS5 Pro’s more powerful hardware at the console’s launch, and plenty of games released since then have followed suit. Since the start of February, newly released games enhanced for PS5 Pro includeAssassin’s Creed Shadows,Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, andMonster Hunter Wilds, withForza Horizon 5on PS5 Pro confirmed to be receiving a choice between Quality and Performance modes when its port for the PS5 releases in April.
While sales of thePS5 Pro are lagging behind the PS4 Proin a comparison of equivalent timeframes since their respective launches, those numbers may be skewed by a recent worldwide decline in hardware sales and the subdued rate of growth in the global economy. However, recent news of an upgrade to PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, or PSSR, coming in 2026 through a partnership with AMD may provide gaming enthusiasts with a better reason to pick up a PS5 Pro and bolster the releases of future enhanced games.
