Solo Leveling & Shangri-La Frontier Are Entering New Arcs
Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 8 marked the endof Sung Jinwoo’s adventure in Baran’s dungeon. The hero defeated all three main bosses and finally gathered the ingredients needed to craft the Elixir of Life. The hero had been training ardently to level up and beat the enemies who stood in his way.
After conquering the dungeon, Sung Jinwoo could finally return and use the potion to help his mother.Solo Leveling’s next arc is focused on Jeju Island, and fans are extremely excited to see all the big names gather in one place and take down the ants inhabiting the island.
Meanwhile, Shangri-La Frontierhas started the Global Game Competition, or the GGC arc. The anime also released a new visual for it, featuring Kei Uomi, Towa Amane, Sachi Shibuya, and Rakurou Hizutome.
When the visual was first released, fans immediately presumed that it would focus on the characters as they would handle issues in their real lives. However, that does not seem to be the case.
Solo Leveling Is One Of The Most Popular Anime
While both anime are still airing, Solo Leveling is by far the more popular of the two. The first season helped the anime build a solid fanbase, but the second season turned it into one of the biggest anime series in the world. The new episodes of Solo Leveling break records on almost a weekly basis.
The anime hasbroken the record for fastest to100,000 likes three times already. Prior to the start of the second season, an episode from Solo Leveling’s first season had set the record. But several episodes have broken that record. Considering the season still has four episodes left, it is extremely likely that the record will be shattered again.
The success of the second season of Solo Leveling means that the anime’s next season will be announced soon. A-1 Pictures has done a remarkable job, and it will look to continue its streak with the next installment.
