This post contains spoilers for Solo Leveling Season 2.
Summary
It won’t be a stretch to say thatSolo LevelingEpisode 24 might end up becoming the best one produced by A-1 Pictures. It is going to expand on the events of the Jeju Island arc. Fans are excited about Episode 24 because they will finally get to see Sung Jinwoo in action.
The hero did not participate in the raid as he wanted to look after his family, particularly his mother, who had just woken from the Eternal Sleep. So, he decided to stay behind, but he did send his Shadows with the Korean Hunters in case things went awry.
In Solo Leveling Episode 24, Sung Jinwoo will come face to face with the ants for the first time, but his priority will be to help the Korean Huntersafter the Black Ant viciously attacked them. In the previous episode, fans saw how the Black Ant decapitated several S-rank Japanese Hunters without even breaking a sweat. After beating the Korean Hunters, the Black Ant went after Goto Ryuji, who claimed to be the King of Humans, a decision that ended up costing him his life.
Luckily, the Korean Hunters suffered a single casualty, and Sung Jinwoo will stop that number from rising. He has access to healing potions, and he can share them with his fellow Hunters so that they don’t succumb to their injuries. The preview imagesshow Baek Yonhoo, Choi Jong-in, Ma Dong-wook, and Lim Tae-Gyu without any injuries, which proves that Sung Jinwoo gave them potions.
The Black Ant Will Keep The Hunters On Their Toes
The Black Ant Is Ruthless And A Real Danger
However, the Black Ant will not give the hero too much time to dilly-dally. The former is blessed with insanely powerful abilities, and it has managed to master them in a very short time. The Black Ant also appears to besmarter than a normal ant, as evidenced by its ability to discern the energy of those around it or who is the bigger threat.
A good example is how it targeted Min Byung-gyu, who was continuously healing the Korean Hunters, allowing them to fight against the enemy. Another instance where the Black Ant showed its intelligence was when it stopped attacking the Korean Hunters and went outside to fight against Goto Ryuji.
Are you…their king? —The Black Ant
It could sense that Goto was superior to the other hunters in terms of strength, which is why it decided to switch its attention. The Black Ant can talk, so it will likely have some kind of interaction with Sung Jinwoo. There is a possibility that they might discuss why the creatures continuously go after humans.
Humanity’s Fate Rests On Sung Jinwoo’s Shoulders
The Hero Needs To Stop The Ants At All Costs
Sung Jinwoo is quite fast, and so far only a handful of enemies have managed to blitz him in combat. His physical strength is not too shabby either, but it is not on the same level as the Black Ant. He needs to be careful, as one wrong step could cost him his life.Sung Jinwoo’s main weapon in the fightwill be the named Shadows. Not only are they physically strong, but each of them has unique abilities at their disposal. Furthermore, they cannot be eradicated as long as Sung Jinwoo has Mana.
Once all of them gang up on the Black Ant, the latter will have little room to operate. It is also possible that the remaining S-rank Hunters will try to help Sung Jinwoo by killing the regular ants, as they will certainly try to intervene in the fight. The ants have no fear of death, so they will not stop until they’re killed.
It will be interesting to see if the fight ends in Episode 24 or if the studio extends it to the next episode. Most fans will behoping that Sung Jinwoo finishes thefight in the same episode so that the finale will set up things for the next season of Solo Leveling.
Solo Leveling Episode 24 will be released on July 02, 2025.
