It was an incredible fight, for sure, and Jinwoo had to give his all to defeat this fearsome enemy. For the most part, Jinwoo had the upper hand in the fight and was dominating the Ant King with his full might. However, for a brief moment, the Ant King got close to hurting Jinwoo, and that’s when the hunter surprised fans withone of his strongest abilities: Mutilation.

Mutilation (Evolved form of the Critical Attack skill)

Daggers

Right from the beginning,Jinwoo didn’t face any trouble fightingthe Ant King. The Humanoid Ant used every ability in his arsenal, including the poison, to paralyze Jinwoo. Fortunately, the System allowed Jinwoo to detoxify and stop the upcoming attack by the Ant King. However, there was an instance during the fight when the Ant King was close to piercing through Jinwoo’s eye. At that moment,Jinwoo called upon his Mutilation abilityto not only get out of the situation but also land some deadly hits on the enemy. But what exactly is this Mutilation ability that terrorized an enemy like the Ant King?

Apparently, Jinwoo’sMutilation ability allows him to target an enemy’s critical pointswith his dagger. It’s theupgraded version of Jinwoo’s Critical Strike skill that requires 70 Mana pointsand can only be used with a dagger. While the Critical Strike skill allows Jinwoo to perform basic attacks, the Mutilation ability can literally tear apart an enemy’s body by landing a series of fatal strikes on their vital points.

Your attacks have become more efficient. You are now able to find your opponent’s vital points and inflict critical damage - Critical Strike Skill.

When the Ant King was about to damage Jinwoo’s eye,Jinwoo upgraded the Critical Strike to Mutilationto surprise the Ant King with a series of slashing fatal attacks with his dagger. The Ant King doesn’t even see the attacks coming and instantly loses one of his arms. It is one of the most effective and useful abilities in Jinwoo’s arsenal, and it certainly makes his fight with the Ant King much easier.

Not only does Jinwoo upgrade Critical Strike to Mutilation, but he alsotakes Mutilation to the max level. It further means that each strike from Jinwoo’s dagger inflicts great damage to the Ant King’s vital points. The series of attacks is so painful for the Ant King that he tries to escape the scene, but, as expected, he fails. Jinwoo catches up to the Ant King, takes out his daggers, andfinishes off the enemy with his Mutilation (Max. Level) skill.

The Ant King’s Regeneration Ability Didn’t Prove Useful Against Jinwoo

The Only Option Left For him Was To Run

The Ant King is able todevelop regeneration skillsafter eating the head of one of the Hunters. While this ability could have been useful against any other fighter, it was nothing more than a gimmick against Jinwoo. Of course, the Ant King was able to regenerate his arm after it was slashed by Jinwoo’s daggers, but Jinwoo’s Mutilation Skill wasn’t a one-time thing. As long as Jinwoo had the daggers, he could have used this ability multiple times.

Each time the Ant King regenerated his limbs, Jinwoo used the slashes from the Mutilation skill to cut through the enemy’s body. Jinwoo’s attacks were clearlytoo much for the Ant King to handle, and no matter how many times he regenerated his limbs, the King of the Ants couldn’t have done any damage to Jinwoo. The monster tried to feel the Queen’s nest twice after regenerating his body, but he failed every time. Eventually, the Ant King had no choice but to face his death at the hands of Jinwoo.

While the threat of the Ant King is over, Jinwoo still has one more objective to achieve —saveCha Hae-In, the Dancer, from an unfortunate death. For now, every healing item proved ineffective in saving Cha Hae-In, but Jinwoo will certainly find a way to save the S-Rank Hunter.
