Summary

In the setting ofSolo Leveling, hunters have the tools and skills to enter dungeons, take down powerful beasts, and scavenge resources, yet not all of them are primed for work in a guild. Theguilds ofSolo Levelingare typically reserved for the strongest hunters in the world, as they are prepared to risk their lives to take on the strongest dungeons known to man. Double Dungeons, Red Gates, and destructive foes can challenge even the strongest of S-rank hunters.

In Asia, the guilds that have grown over the years have become revered as the best in the world. While the Draw Sword Guild in Japan has its reputation as potentially the strongest in all Asia, Korea not only has its fair share of tremendous hunters, but power in numbers. The White Tiger Guild is established in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, and is known for its strength among the crew, as well as their willingness to train up-and-coming recruits in weaker dungeons.

White Tiger Guild: A Clan That Was Once The Greatest

Formerly Known As The Grim Reaper Guild, Now Run Entirely By Its S-Rank Hunter

Claiming dungeons and securing valuable items has become a lucrative operation inSolo Leveling, so much so that construction companies have begun developing their own makeshift guilds in order to take on missions and seal gates. Unfortunately, their time in these dungeons doesn’t compare to the ease with which a guild like White Tiger can handle, despite their S-rank hunters being among some of the weaker ones in the world.

After losing Jeju Island to an S-rank gate, Korea’s guilds also suffered the loss of four of its ten S-rank hunters. Due to these circumstances, Korea was viewed as the weakest territory in the world, and a place where S-rank hunters aren’t as respected. In trying times, the White Tiger Guild developed into one that helps train up-and-coming hunters to bolster their numbers.

With a main focus on protecting their land and restoring order to the residents, the White Tiger Guild prioritizes recruitment and resource gathering in order to enrich their profits and grow their number of higher-ranked hunters. Lower-tiered hunters enter dungeons with a mentor to guide them, while B-rank and A-rank hunters protect the gate from being stolen by rival Korean guilds.

White Tiger Is Family-Led

How Father And Daughter Reign Supreme

The success of the White Tiger Guild falls on the shoulders of one family — the Baek father-daughter duo. Asthe White Tiger Guild’s one and only S-Rank hunter, Yoonho is tasked with leading not only his daughter, Miho, but the rest of his crew as well. He does so with a serious nature, showing ambition by leaving his former guild in pursuit of beginning his own and running it the way he desires. Secretly,Yoonho is one of the weakest S-rank huntersin terms of strength, but masks it with a keen eye and higher intellect.

I always believed that a single hero couldn’t end a war by himself. But after recent events, I’m starting to think that maybe I was wrong.

Miho, on the other hand, is a remarkable A-rank hunter and regarded as one of the strongest in Kora. Due to her immense strength and speed, combined with the ability to transform into a fox-like monster during a battle, Miho is one of thestrongest female hunters inSolo Leveling, and a future Guild Master candidate. Like her father, Miho is also capable of detecting the strength of any hunter, which aided with identifying Sung Jin-Woo’s true potential.

White Tiger Guild’s Top Hunters

Versatility Among Several Hunters Is Key To Success

While the White Tiger Guild is led by Yoonho Baek, and dominated by Miho, the guild itself has some much-needed versatility. As one of just two A-rank hunters, Kim Chul’s services as one of the better Tankers inSolo Levelingprovides his allies with some much-needed defense. Paired with Heejin Park,a B-rank mage and clever hunter overall, the White Tiger guild is in good hands when it comes to the training of new recruits.

Go Myung-Hwan shouldn’t be disregarded despite his C-rank status, as his abilities as a martial artist have come in handy for the guild. Yoon Kijoong is a secondaryTanker for White Tiger, and although he lacks the confidence and bravery of Chul, he remains an honest hunter that knows when bravado is best checked at the door. Individually, all White Tiger members are quite unremarkable, except Miho, but can do good work when fighting as a collective unit.

With only a handful of S-rank hunters worldwide, it doesn’t help the White Tiger Guild to have one of the weakest of its class. Despite Yoonho’s ability to lead a guild with wise words and a strong command of leadership, his strength on the battlefield falls short. With that in mind, the guild is best served aiming for mid-tiered dungeons in order to continue their progress in training new recruits and gathering any resources they find.
