However, asfirst reported by PCGamesN, some preorders of the Radeon RX 9070 XT were canceled due to high demand. Anangry Reddit user postedthat UK retailer eBuyer canceled a preorder for the RX 9070 XT, and stated that the price of the card had increased by £150 over the launch MSRP. Other users posted that they had better luck, as they were able to grab the Radeon RX 9070 XT on Amazon and at brick-and-mortar stores like Micro Center, albeit at an increased cost for premium features.

Some AMD Users Frustrated by Canceled Radeon RX 9000 Preorders

In response to users' concerns, Frank Azor of AMD’s Consumer and Gaming Marketing division posted a message on social media following the launch of the Radeon RX 9000 series. Azor stated that the MSRPs of $549 and $599 will be encouraged by the tech giant, but added that the prices werebefore any regional tariffsor taxes were calculated. Azor added that add-in board (AIB) partner cards may have premium features that increase costs, and stated that stocks would be replenished in the coming weeks.
