Where Is The Anime At In Relation To The Manga?

Wind Breaker Season 1adapted 41 chapters of the original manga, so the second season should start with Chapter 42, which is the first chapter of Volume 6. According to rumors, the season islisted with 12 episodes(only one cour).

If thesecond season follows the same paceas the first one, it should cover about 3 chapters per episode — if the episode count is correct, then the second season should end around Chapter 78–80.

Kicking Off With The Keel Arc

The first season ended in the middle of the Keel arc, in which Haruka and his friends will face a new gang called Keel. After this arc, Season 2 could cover the Sakura & Tsubakino and Roppo-Ichiza / Gravel arcs. If the season adapts up to Chapter 80, it will likely end in the middle of the Roppo-Ichiza arc.

Wind Breaker Season 2 Release Date & Where to Watch

Season 2will be released in Japanon July 13, 2025, andCrunchyrollhas already confirmed that it willstream the series internationally. The service also dubbed the first season, so fans can expect an English dub for the second season to hit the platform a few weeks after the anime airs (as dubs are usually added weeks after the dubbed episode is released).

SinceNetflix streams most seasonal anime in Asia, the new season may also be available on the service in select Asian countries. It is possible that Netflix or other streaming services will add the episodes in regions where Crunchyroll is not available.

What Is Wind Breaker About?

Theseries follows Haruka Sakura, a “lone wolf” with heterochromia in his hair and in his eyes, which is partly the reason why he became an outcast. In turn, Haruka trained a lot and he became an excellent fighter. He also has a strong sense of justice.

He decides to enroll at a school where strength is more important than academic performance, aiming to be the best — this school is located in a town called Makochi. There, he is able to make a few friends, and he also learns that the school’s real goal isto protect the city from harm.

Besides the anime, fans can also read theWind Breakermanga in English. The latest chapters are available on K-MANGA, and the volumes are published in print and digital versions by Kodansha USA.

Wind Breaker Season 2will be available on Crunchyroll starting April 3, and is expected to be dubbed into English at a later date.
