Summary
Fire Forceis an anime series from the mind of Atsushi Ohkubo, whoalso created theSoul Eaterseries, and the two shows even share a link that the author revealed towards the end of theFire Forcemanga. Since then, there have been two successful seasons of the anime, and there is a third season on the way that could draw the story towards its conclusion.
There are several really powerful characters in the anime, with their pyro-inclined abilities making them incredibly dangerous. While there are figures in the manga who are yet to be introduced, these are currently thestrongest characters in theFire Forceanime.

The season also revealed the growth of some other characters, which should mean that their positions in a ranked list should be reconsidered.

Gold is a character that was introduced in the 3rd season ofFire Force. It is revealed that she was the one responsible for the murder of Sōichirō Hague, the former captain of Fire Force Company 4. She mostly makes use of the weapons brought against her, as evidenced in her battle against Fire Force Company 8. She is able to heat gold, which enables it to create a magnetic field in which she can manipulate substances like iron.
She was a particularly formidable foe for Company 8, and it took the combined efforts of almost all the members to put her down. She was able to resist Tamaki’s heat and was able to redirect Hinawa’s bullets. It took the genius of Viktor Licht and Vulcan Joseph to give the Fire Force Company 8 crew a way to victory.

Ritsu (Guardian)
Inca Kasugatani was introduced as a ‘fire thief’ during the second season of theFire Forceanime. She is someone who will go to a house about to catch fire and offer to rescue the people inside for a fee, and she winds up joining the White-Clad despite the efforts of Special Fire Force Company 8.
Inca’s ability topredict fire and even create a pathway for itmakes her a very dangerous opponent. On top of that, she possesses an Adolla burst, which means that she is also a pillar. She was able to keep up with Charon when she was confronted by the brute in a fight, allowing her to be seen as someone who shouldn’t be messed with.

Shinra Kusakabe (Ward)
In his first sighting,Joker was portrayed as a villain, and he showed some really adept movement and ability when facing Shinra and his friends. Later, it was revealed that he was part of the assassin group Holy Sol’s Shadow and was one of the top people in the organization.
Joker was able to keep up with Sho Kusakabe and was instrumental when he and Benimaru stormed the Holy Sol headquarters. His mastery of close-quarters combat makes him a formidable fighter. Further cementing his place among thestrongest characters in theFire Forceanime, he acts as Shinra’s guardian, which is not a position that will be given to a weakling.

Shinra Kusakabe (Brother)
Sho wasstolen by the White-Clad groupwhen he was a baby and was raised with no knowledge of his family. It was upon meeting Shinra for the first time in combat that he started to realize the truth and uncover all that had been taken from him.
On the combat front, Sho is scary, boasting frightening speeds that make him almost impossible to keep up with. He is so fast that he essentially stops time. On top of that, he is immensely skilled with the sword, and as the leader of the Knights of the Ashen Flame, he proves himself deserving of all the respect he receives.

Mr. Boyle (Dad)
Arthur Boyle sometimescomes across as a joke characterwith his obsession with being a knight and all the things that entail. However, when it comes down to it, he is one of the strongest fire soldiers in theFire Forceanime and is able to go toe-to-toe with just about anyone.
Arthur is a 3rd generation soldier, and hemakes use primarily of his plasma sword. He was able to cut powerful foes like Dr. Giovanni, and he was even able to endure training from Benimaru and keep up with Shinra.
Haumea (Ward)
Charon acts as second pillar. He took the role of Haumea’s guardian and is very devoted to her, often taking his place by her side in fights. He is a second-generation fire user, which enables him to manipulate flames through various gestures.
However, perhaps his strongest trait is his durability. Charon can take hits and is almost never injured. He has tanked attacks from Shinra and Arthur and even faced multiple members of the Fire Force. He even offhandedly killed Sancho, one of Inca’s companions, further showcasing his immense strength.
Charon (Guardian)
Haumea is a member of the White-Clad. She seems goofy on the outside, largely due to her appearance, which sees her place a golden crown over her eyes, and her messily tied bun on the top of her head. However, she is able to make use of her powers through electricity and canuse this to control people.
Furthermore, she can hear the thoughts and intentions of those around her, which makes her very difficult to fight. She also has an Adolla burst and is the second pillar, behind only Amaterasu.

Hibana & Iris (Wards)
The kindly sister Sumire was a mother figure to both Iris and Hibana and was one of the head sisters in charge of St Raffles Convent. Unfortunately, underneath her nice-looking exterior is a being of great power and great hatred. It turned out that she was responsible for the fire that took down St Rafffles and killed several people living in it.
Her confrontation with Hibana, Karim Flam, and Huo Yan Li showed some of the extent of her power. She is capable of using the technique of ‘shivering’ to cause massive vibrations, which can be strong enough to take down a city. She is also extensively knowledgeable in several fields, which makes her even more of a unit in battle.

Shinra (Old Acquaintance)
Leonard Burns is the captain of Special Fire Force Company 1 and is one of the most respected and strongest captains of the bunch. He was there when Shinra’s powers awakened, permitting him to be available to help the little one at the time.
As a captain, he has incredible strength and durability. Furthermore, his fire affinity makes him a true horror for an enemy, especially with his ignition ability, Voltage Nova. In this state, he is able to repel attacks even more adeptly than normal. Leo is also hard to injure, which is something that Shinra found when the two fought.
Shō Kusakabe (Brother)
As isthe case with most shonen anime, the protagonist often rises to become the strongest character. But at this point in theFire Forceanime, Shinra still has some way to go. He has an Adolla burst, making him the fourth pillar, and has Joker as a guardian.
Shinra is incredibly fast, as shown in his fight against Sho, where he was soon able to keep up and even surpass his younger brother. He is also one of the only people to ever land a blow on Leo Burns and even injure him slightly. He would later go on to actually defeat Burns in a massive battle where his flames got the better of the Company 1 commander. Shinra is super strong and even has the power of flight thanks to the way his flames manifest.
