From hunters to Monarchs, anyone who is gifted with this ability possesses a destructive power that can overwhelm any adversary that crosses their path. Several strong characters use fire magic, but very few can compete with these characters when it comes to control and raw power.
Member of Dongsuk’s Raid Team
Chowas a corrupt and dangerous hunter who was willing to kill other people for his benefit. He worked with Hwang Dongsuk and his squad of Lizards, who regularly committed crimes in dungeons to make an extra buck.
Kyuhwan was an exceptional fire magic userdespite being just a C-ranked hunter. His control was extraordinary, and his attacks were strong enough to hurt most hunters and magic beasts of his rank.
5Song Chi-Yul
C-Rank Hunter
Song Chi-Yulisa mage-type hunterand a survivor ofthe Double Dungeon disaster. He is an experienced swordsman who is skilled enough to fight hunters stronger than him. Interestingly, Chi-Yul is a skilled fire magic user.

Despite being just a C-ranked hunter, he has trained himself enough to employ his abilities to create flame pillars that are powerful enough to overwhelm low-ranked monsters.
4Choi Jong-In
Guild Master of Hunters Guild
Choi Jong-Inis the best fire magic user in Korea.He leads the Hunters Guildand has a ton of experience under his belt, so it should not come as a surprise that he is exceptionally skilled in using fire magic. During the Jeju Island raid, he fought valiantly and used fire magic to find thelocation of the Queen Ant’s lairstrategically.

Choi Jong-In is said to have enough power to use a single spell to burn down an entire building. Banking on his immense mana pool, he can create an entire dragon made up of flames that can kill most of his adversaries in an instant. He can also make flame spears that can be used to hurt anyone in his path.
3Kargalgan
Boss of Hunters Guild Gate
Kargalganwas a high orc shamanwho was gifted with incredible magic abilities. He was a sadistic and arrogant monster who looked down on humanity and wanted to crush humans like insects. When Hunters Guild’s A-rank squad was stuck in his dungeon, he invited them to his lair, only to torture them. He would have been successful in crushing the entire team one by one to amuse himself if Sung Jinwoo had not been with them.
Kargalgan was extremely adept at using many magic spells, and a few of them were capable of generating fire. Hymn of the Blazing Fire was used when he wanted to overwhelm his adversaries with a wave of fireballs. This was a powerful attack that could trouble even top A-rank hunters.
Hymn of the Fire Dragon was another devastating magic spell that could cause serious damage. Kargalgan used it to shoot a beam of fire after transforming his hood into a dragon’s mouth. After Sung Jinwoo defeated him and turned him into his shadow soldier named Tusk, he started using another fire magic spell named Hymn of Combustion. As the name suggests, it caused spontaneous combustion of the target and was extremely dangerous.
America’s Second Best Hunter
Christopher Reedis one of the characters whose life is shrouded in secrecy, and not much is known about his past. Even his abilities are barely mentioned in the manhwa.But being a National Level Hunter, he is undoubtedly one of the strongest humans.
Interestingly, Christopher Reed’s hunter class is also unknown. However, the manhwa does mention one thing about his powers. Reed is capable of transforming into a humanoid monster whenever he wants. In this form, he could create flames so potent that it required the help of an entire team of S-rankers just to extinguish them. SinceSung Jinwoo, Lui Zhigang, and Thomas Andredo not have any such abilities, it is safe to assume that Christopher is perhaps the best fire magic user among humans.
1Antares
The King of Dragons
Antaresis one of the strongest characters in the series.Also known as the Monarch of Destruction, he is genocidal and looks down on humanity. Even among Monarchs, Antares is the cruelest and perhaps the most terrifyingly powerful. Because of his nearly invincible strength, he rarely becomes agitated or concerned, even when faced with intimidating adversaries.
As the most powerful Monarch, Antares has countless abilities that are almost impossible to keep count of. Apart from Dragon’s Fear, Spiritual Body Manifestation, Telepathy, Gate Creation, and Shapeshifting, he is also an adept fire magic user—perhaps the best in the series.
Antares can generate flames using just his claws and fingers. They are so powerful that they can instantly kill even the best hunters in the world. He can also create flames from his mouth using an ability named Breath of Destruction. It is one of his signature skills, and even S-rankers can’t withstand it.
