How to Beat Zombie Dragon in Suikoden 1
Preparation
If a player is struggling to defeat the Zombie Dragon, they should take some time to prepare more thoroughly. Specifically, players should backtrack to the beginning ofSuikoden’s Toran Lake Castle, use Yam Koo to return to Kaku, and pursue the following endeavors:
Equip Cleo with the Fire Rune
The very first thing that players should do is equip Cleo with the Fire Rune that they received from Leknaat. Players can perform that action by visitingSeika, the town just northeast of Kaku, and speaking with the woman inside the building with the orb sign.
While visiting Seika, players may want to stop by the Item Shop and purchase a Water Orb, which could then be equipped to Gremio to give him access to healing spells. That said, this is not strictly necessary, provided that the player brings a sufficient amount of Medicine to thisSuikodenboss battle.
Level Up
It is critical that theparty members inSuikodenbe at suitable levels before fighting the Zombie Dragon, and it is recommended that players get them all toLevel 20. Fortunately, that can be done very quickly by taking these actions:
Stock Up on Medicine
Players should ensure that they have plenty of Medicine, which can be purchased at theItem Shop in Kaku, before fighting the Zombie Dragon. It is also recommended that every party member has some of that Medicine in their inventory.
Upgrade Equipment
Players may want to stop by theWeapon Shopin Kaku and get all their party members' weapons to Level 5. Additionally,JRPGfans should consider purchasing any upgrades that can be found in theArmor Shopin Kaku.
Battle
