First released in September 2023, Ubisoft’s open-world racing title was slow to get off the starting line. Less than a month after the game’s release, players could findThe Crew Motorfestdiscounted across digital platforms. Despite the slow start, Ubisoft has continued to support the game with gamers now gearing up to jump into Season 6.
For Season 6 ofThe Crew Motorfest,Ubisoft has collaborated with Red Bull to bring 17 new vehicles, playlists, and improvements to the game. The headline playlist is Red Bull Speed Clash. This is set in a new playground near Mount Haleakalā and will be dedicated to multi-vehicle challenges. This mode allows players to choose from all types of vehicles to race with, so players can’t just rely onThe Crew Motorfest’s fastest carsto earn this Season’s rewards.
As Season 6 progresses, the Red Bull Wild Ride playlist will launch and give players Red Bull-related challenges throughout the entire island. On May 7, there will be an added challenge as Red Bull Drivers have set records in their specific disciplines for players to try and beat. As the action will take place across Maui, Ubisoft will expand the island significantly, building new areas onThe Crew Motorfest’s map.
Ubisoft has beenincrementally updatingThe Crew Motorfestfor some time, and Season 6 builds on this. Weekly themed races and boosted events have been added to the Grand Race mode along with new weather conditions and a dynamic No Collision Mode. Rounding out the update is a new flow that aims to give players a seamless experience when jumping in and out of missions around Hawaii.
The Crew Motorfestisn’t the only tie-in between Ubisoft and the energy drink provider in 2025.Red Bull is teaming up withAssassin’s Creed Shadowsto bring in-game rewards for the dual protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke. What’s unique about this collaboration is that fans don’t have to redeem a code on cans of energy drinks, but simply complete an online quiz. It remains to be seen if players will use the rewards in-game as the medallions feature the Red Bull logo, something that’s not exactly in keeping with the feudal Japan aesthetic.
