More The First Berserker: Khazan Changes Coming Soon

At the same time, the South Korean developer is still hard at work refining its newest soulslike based on early player feedback. To that end, Neople has already released severalThe First Berserker: Khazanbalancing patches, the most recent of which arrived on Friday, April 4. Identified by version number 496652 on PC and 01.003.034/1.1.3.34 on consoles, the new update changes the system for acquiring gear through crafting and shopping by tying gear level to the overall amount of experience and Lacrima that the player has accumulated, rather than basing it on one’s character level. This change also means that resetting the character level will no longer affect one’s gear acquisition.

Neople’s late March 2025 blog post commemorating the game’s release suggested that at least one moreThe First Berserker: Khazanupdatewill arrive sometime in April, following the release of the 496652 patch. Much like the soulslike’s first two updates, this upcoming release is largely expected to be focused on balancing changes and bug fixes.

Beyond this forthcoming update, the developer is currently working on the option to switch between the Easy and Normal difficulties during the same playthrough.
