The game’s focus on guild-based gameplay and appeal to both PvE and PvP players led to this early growth, but while many reviews forThrone and Libertycontinue to be positive, many have also criticized the title for its complicated mechanics and cliché story elements. The developers are continuing to add polish to the game, and a new update has also introduced tons of new content for players to enjoy as spring approaches.

The new 2.1.0 update forThrone and Libertyis now live for all players, with the patch introducing the new Nebula Island activity and a robust Artifact system. According to thepatch notes, Nebula Island is a new interserver activity consisting of a central village and six regions, with one peaceful zone and four war zones where players who have reached level 55 can always engage in PvP. A new accessory system called Artifacts is also available now exclusively for Nebula Island content, with players able to refine their distinct playstyles by collecting and equipping Artifact item sets. ThesehelpfulThrone and Libertyitemscan be obtained from Nebula Island and Abyss Dungeons in Talandre, and there are currently 14 unique Artifact sets to choose from.

Players can also expect to confront two new solo dungeon bosses, Umbrakan and Lionhead, with Doomrot Grove and Twisted Laboratory also being added as new 3-star dungeons. Following the 2.1.0 update, raiding may become more fun and engaging for some players, as the title now supports raids of up to eight parties and 48 players. Certain aspects of gameplay have also been tweaked, with an issue preventing certaincombat abilities inThrone and Libertyto fire successfully being corrected.

The developers at NCSoft continue to introduce updates to help make its MMO the best that it can be for players. In October 2024, the companycracked down on bots inThrone and Liberty, promising to monitor activity and take action against those engaging in hacking or cheating.
